Accessibility
THEPRINT.NINJA LTD is committed to making our website and digital services accessible to as many people as possible, in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA, the Equality Act 2010, and the European Accessibility Act 2025 as applied in the UK.
1. What we have done
We have built this warranty registration site with accessibility considered from the start. The page uses semantic HTML, sufficient colour contrast, descriptive labels on every form field, keyboard-only navigation throughout, and a built-in accessibility panel that lets you change the text size, switch on a high-contrast theme, and switch to a dyslexia-friendly font. Your preferences are saved on your device so you only need to set them once.
2. How to use the accessibility tools
Look for the small accessibility icon in the header pill — labelled with a circular figure and "aAA" letters. Activate it with mouse, touch, or by tabbing to it and pressing Enter. The panel lets you scale the text up to 200%, enable high contrast (white text on black), and switch to the Atkinson Hyperlegible dyslexia-friendly typeface. Settings persist between visits on the same device.
3. Standards we aim to meet
We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 level AA. Specifically, all text meets the 4.5:1 contrast ratio requirement at the default and high-contrast themes, all interactive elements are reachable and operable by keyboard, all form fields have visible labels and accessible names, and the site does not rely on colour alone to convey information. The site is responsive and works on screen widths from 320px upwards.
4. Known limitations
We continuously review the site for accessibility issues. At present we are aware of the following limitations: the multi-select chip controls (used for "what else interests you") may not announce their selected state perfectly in all screen readers, and some optional decorative borders rely on colour for emphasis. We are working to address these in future iterations.
5. Alternative formats
If you cannot access any part of this site, or would like the warranty registration form provided in an alternative format (for example, a printed form sent by post, a large-print version, or as a PDF you can fill in offline), please email hello@theprint.ninja or call 0333 023 0003. We will provide the requested format within ten working days at no charge.
6. Compliance with the Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations
THEPRINT.NINJA LTD is a private commercial business and is not directly bound by the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018. We nonetheless aim to meet the same standard, particularly because many of our customers are public sector bodies whose own duties extend to the supplier they procure from.
7. Reporting an accessibility problem
If you find an accessibility issue or believe we are not meeting these requirements, please tell us so we can fix it. Email hello@theprint.ninja with the page address, what you tried to do, and what went wrong. We will acknowledge your message within two working days and confirm a resolution timeline.
8. Enforcement
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may refer the matter to the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) at equalityadvisoryservice.com, who provide advice on disability discrimination under the Equality Act 2010.
